sunday post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

What happened this week?

This was a pretty decent week. On Monday I had lunch with my mom, I hadn’t seen her in a while and it was fun to catch up. I am doing better unmasking and being myself which makes social events a bit less tiring.

Besides that we cleaned out my computer this week, which went well and its quieter now, which is good. I made marshmallows dipped in chocolate which turned out good. I had some good reads this week after I DNF’d three books and figured what it was I wanted to read. I did a few small things for one of the authors I work for. We also did a bit more cleaning out of the house, so a bit of progress made there as well.

No change on the mosquito situation compared with last week, we’re still finding one or two every day.

What did I read this week?

Go Ahead…Pick Me Up! Put Me in your Backpack!Rite of Blood and BondsA Sprinkle of Spirits

The DNF’s aren’t listed here. These were all great reads.
Go Ahead…Pick Me Up! Put Me in your Backpack! was a nice motivational non-fiction book.
Rite of Blood and Bonds was a great sequel, I liked seeing the romance develop and seeing Beatrice gain her footing in the world of vampire politics.
A Sprinkle of Spirits was such a fun sequel. I liked reading about Leo and seeing her deal with a new problem.

This week I blogged about:

Review: A Dangerous Connection by S.J. Pajonas
Review: My Kind of Trouble by L.A. Schwartz

How was your week?

  1. i went out yesterday to BBQ on the grill, it’s been chilly and I still got bit by a mosquito. We are planning to plan so flowers in the back of the house that repel them. This year was just so bad, I couldn’t even enjoy the yard.

I am glad you had a nice visit with your mom. Marshmallows in Chocolate sound yummy!

I hope this week is awesome for you Lola! Happy Reading!

    • That’s sounds like a good plan to plant flowers that repel mosquitos, they are so annoying and that’s annoying you still got bitter even with the grill and chilly weather.

The marshmallows in chocolate were really good and relatively easy to make too.

    • I just hope we finally see the last of those mosquitos soon, but it was a good week besides that. The de-cluttering is tough, but it’s also nice to get it done.

    • It’s so much better to only have one or two mosquitos per day, but it’s still very frustrating to still deal with them. We had a few warm days this week, but we had colder weather before this.
