The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week was okay. We’re still dealing with the mosquito issue and no progress this week, we’re still finding a few every day with some days being worse. I got my period migraine later in the week, the meds worked decently this time and I didn’t feel as bad as most months, so that was nice. Although I wish what caused it as I didn’t do anything else than normally.
I had an exciting formatting task to work on this week, one of my authors asked me to format an anthology. So that was fun, it was a bit short notice so I had to get most of it done this week, but luckily I managed that. I also did some work for another author, updating her books with new covers and blurbs on Goodreads.
What did I read this week?
Heartwaves was a 5 star read, really good book with super realistic and real characters.
Monster’s Past was a good one by a familiar author with cute banter between the couple.
Back to Belfast sadly didn’t work for me and wasn’t what I had expected.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: The Gift of Anxiety by Diante Fuchs
– Review: The Stars Too Fondly by Emily Hamilton
– Review: Summer Fling With A Sea God by Laura Greenwood
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: A Picture of Murder by T.E. Kinsey
– Review: Awakenings by Claudia Arseneault
– Review: A Fondant Farewell by H.Y. Hanna
I was just about to comment that Back to Belfast looked good, but then saw you say it didn’t work for you. That’s too bad. I’m behind again on reviews, but hope to have some time soon to check out your reviews.

Back to Belfast sounded so good, I am sad I didn’t enjoy it as much, but it was very different than what I expected.
Ugh, I hate mosquitos! Fingers crossed you manage to stamp them out for good soon!
I hope so too, I think the colder weather is helping.
I know that’s discouraging to have the mosquitoes still being an issue plus a headache, but glad you could get the formatting job done especially since it had to be so quickly finished. Woohoo for a rare 5-star read for you.
Have a good week, Lola!
I just want to be done with the mosquitos already, but now that the weather got colder we’re seeing even less of them, so fingers crossed soon we’ve seen the last of them. I am glad I got the formatting done in time it was a bit stressful, but also fun work. And I was so glad to have a 5 star read!
I hope this week is easier in every way. But I’m glad the indexing was interesting and you were able to do it.

Sadly this week wasn’t easier. Luckily the work was interesting.
Glad to hear you had a fun formatting job even if it was wanted so quickly. I hope the mosquitoes are gone soon for you.

Tight deadlines are always a bit stressful for me, but I am glad I got it done in time. I think we’re finally getting even fewer mosquitos, so hopefully soon they’re fully gone.
Ooh, The Gift of Anxiety sounds interesting. I definitely try to remember with mine that it’s trying to protect me, and that I can’t be mad at myself for having feelings. Maybe I should read that book. Thanks for the review! The Stars Too Fondly sounds good too.

It was such a good read, exactly what you mention that’s what the book focus on that your anxiety is a useful emotion and wants to protect you. I thought it was a very helpful book. And The Stars Too Fondly is such a great read, I hope you decide to check it out.
