The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
I got another period migraine toward the end of this week, a lot of brain fog. Pain-wise is was not the worst one, but they are always quite nasty and the brain fog makes it so hard to get anything done.
The mosquito problem continues and we had a few really bad days with so many mosquitos and then a few less bad ones luckily. We called the repair company again about an update and early next week they’re going to be fixing the sewer issue that’s the cause of the mosquito issue. So we hope that will resolve it finally.
We made a bit more progress in cleaning out our house this week. This time we tackled the top of the kitchen cabinets, were we had stored a variety of appliances we didn’t use anymore. As well as some things we did use. We took them all down, cleaned the tops of the cabinets and then sorted through what we wanted to keep and what not. We found an old deep fryer we hadn’t used in years and it had old oil in there, it was quite the shock when we discovered the oil had turned to almost a slime like consistency. It was really disgusting and I hadn’t realized oil could be like that if you leave it long enough. I definitely was glad to get rid of that.
What did I read this week?
Finished lots of books this week and they were all good ones.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Dark Tempest by Annette Marie
– Review: Crown of Blood and Duty by Laura Greenwood
– Review: Summer Tales From Cozy Vales
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Scripted to Slay by A.C.F. Bookens
– Review: City Bird by Angela Harrison Vinet and Janis Hatten Harrison
– Review: Between the Sea and Sky by Jaclyn Dolamore
Good for you on the cleaning. I hope you finally get the mosquito issue resolved because that is horrid.

I really hope the mosquito issue will get resolved now, it’s been a stressful few months dealing with this issue.
I can’t believe you’re still dealing with those mosquitos! I don’t know about a gross thing when cleaning my house, although there’s some weird little circle of something that I think maybe is from the attic in my garage? My sister was telling me about some thing that helps with mosquito bites that kind of puts heat/very lightly is like a burn on them, and it stops the itching for a day or so? Not sure. Anyway, I hope that they get that taken care of soon!
I can’t believe it either, it’s ridiculous how long it takes to resolve it. I’ve heard of that technique for mosquito bites, but never tried it as it sounds uncomfortable, I usually take my anti-histamine pills now, which work well.
Crossing fingers the maintenance work on sewers takes care of those pest. Yay for getting a big clean out job done with the top of the cabinets and the gross deep fryer. I need to do my top cabinets, too.
Wow, lot of books got finished this week.
Hopefully, next week will be a good one, Lola!
I really hope the maintenance work on the sewers will resolve the mosquito issue. It sure was nice to get that cleaning done, the tops of the cabinets look so much nicer and I am happy to get rid of that gross deep fryer.
Hopefully they can fix the mosquito problem.

I hope so too.
I hope the moquito issue is resolved soon! High five on the kitchen clean out. Once I found a lunchbox and opened it to find a couple of baggies of I don’t know what it was because it was all practically liquid! Ewwwww
I hope the mosquito issue gets resolved soon too. That lunchbox situation does sound very nasty with it all being liquid.
