The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
I am still struggling with feeling burned out and this week just didn’t got very smoothly for some reason. I had a doctor appointment which was stressful, but luckily it’s just a skin issue instead of something worse.
Work wise I had a cover reveal media kit I sent out and the cover reveal took place later this week. I did some website updating and social media scheduling for one of the authors I do assistant work for. I am still taking it easy work wise where possible and have temporarily closed my sign up form for new tour requests, I didn’t want to do it, but also realized I just can’t take on much additional work right now. Hopefully I feel better soon and can open the form again, I did leave my book formatting open as those are easier to fit in as they don’t take as much time.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Lovelight Farms by B.K. Borison
– Review: Needle You Mind by A.C.F. Bookens
– Review: Charmed and Dangerous by Lindsay Buroker
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Seams Like Murder by Dorothy Howell
– Review: Appalachian Awakening by Nance Sparks
– Review: The Heir and The Tiger by Laura Greenwood
Tours open for sign-up on Lola’s Blog Tours:
– Review Opportunity: Adventures of Takuan from Koto by Ryu Zhong
– Review Opportunity: Notes for Neuro Navigators by Jolene Stockman
– Review Opportunity: Daughter of Isis by Kelsey Ketch
Too bad this week was a rough one for stress, but sounds like you are figuring out what you can handle so that is good. Hopefully, this week will go better for you, Lola.
I agree, it is good to get a better handle on what on what I can handle, but it’s tough and slow going.
I can only imagine taking on more and doing tours making you more stressed! You definitely need to do what helps you! I’m going to kind of be an author’s “assistant” for a friend at a local convention the first weekend in February. I’m very excited for that! Here’s hoping you have a better week!

I really enjoy doing the tours, so that’s what makes it tough to decide to close the form for a while, as I just can’t handle it at the moment. That’s exciting you’re going to be an author’s assistant for a friend at a local convention! I hope it goes well 🙂
Sorry you are struggling and hope you feel better soon, Lola:)). I’m interested to read your review on Charmed and Dangerous as Buroker is one of my favourite authors. Take care and I hope the coming week is a kinder one.
Thanks! I hope so too. Charmed and Dangerous was a good one, I really liked the whole series and Lindsay Buroker is one of my favorite authors too. I just started finished The Elf Tangent by her this week.
I hope you feel better soon. Have a great week!

Hugs. I hope you feel better soon. I was just telling someone that I’m not burned out, but I am crispy. Ugh. I feel you.

That makes sense how you word it as feeling crispy, I hope you can take some rest soon so it won’t turn into burn out.
I hope you feel better this week. Doctor visits are very stressful for me as well.
Sorry to hear doctor visits are very stressful for you as well.
