The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week I struggled a bit with the aftermath of being sick with the flu last week, I still wasn’t feeling fully back to normal and was quite tired. I took it easy where possible and still got some things done as well. Later in the week I slowly started to feel a bit better and now that our financial situation has improved I am noticing some of the stress around that is lessening which is nice.
We cleaned out our freezer as that was really necessary, there was a lot of ice forming and it was a good opportunity to check if everything was still good and throw some things away.
I also worked on some upcoming blog posts for the end of the year about my favorite ebooks and audiobooks of the year. It was fun to look back at the amazing books I read this year.
Work wise, I put a new review opportunity live. I am emailing with another author about some upcoming tours. And I did some assistant work for some of my authors.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Grown-Up Second Chance by Casey Dawes
– Review: Spell Hound by Lindsay Buroker
– Review: Honey Mead Murder by Dahlia Donovan
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Tilly in Technicolor by Mazey Eddings
– Review: Death Around the Bend by T.E. Kinsey
Tours open for sign-up on Lola’s Blog Tours:
– Review Opportunity: Brooke’s Win-Win Pony by Susan Count
– Review Opportunity: Adventures of Takuan from Koto by Ryu Zhong
– Review Opportunity: Notes for Neuro Navigators by Jolene Stockman – New!
– Blog Tour: Helipads in Heaven by Shanti Hershenson – 27 November till 17 December
I am glad you are feeling better, Lola. Have a wonderful Sunday 😊

It was a good one 🙂
Money may not buy happiness but it sure helps with peace of mind.
Wishing you a happy reading week

I think a certain minimum of money definitely helps. And it has done wonders for my peace of mind.
I’m glad you are starting to feel better. My daughter has gone through the same and is finally improving. Good for you on cleaning out the freezer. I did an inventory of the meat but I need to use or throw out the other stuff.

This sickness hung around for a long time. Sorry to hear your daughter went through the same. Cleaning out the freezer is always a pain, but I am glad we got it done now for a while.
After the flu, I can see why you still need time to get your energy back. Yay for getting a tough chore done and getting some tour work finished. I was so excited you got that extra financial boost, too.
Have a good week, Lola!
The financial boost has been such a big help and has diminished my stress levels already. I am glad the freezer is cleaned out and I got some tour work done.
I hope you feel better soon!

I’m glad you’re feeling better. I had a cold last week so I’m glad that seems to be going away as well.

I am sorry to hear you’ve been sick too. I do hope you are feeling better. I don’t think I’m ready to think about end of the year lists and posts. The time is coming fast though, isn’t it? I hope you continue to enjoy your reading and have a great week, Lola!

I had some time and inspiration to work on them and it was nice to get most of them done now already. The end of the year is suddenly feeling close by already.
