The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week started off pretty decent, but then I got a bad migraine later in the week and didn’t get much done then. The medicines hardly seemed to work this time, but I was slowly starting to feel better on Saturday evening when I was writing this post.
Works wise I put two new sign ups posts live, a blog tour for a scifi romance anthology and a book blitz for a horror book. I also put a new blog post for authors live about how to distribute review copies.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: In the Market for Murder by T.E. Kinsey
– Review: Shifter’s Truth by Laura Greenwood and Arizona Tape
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Storm Forged by Lindsay Buroker
– Review: Something Wild & Wonderful by Anita Kelly
Tours open for sign-up on Lola’s Blog Tours:
– Review Opportunity: Omitted Pieces by Stephanie Hansen
– Review Opportunity: Blackbriar Cove by Jennifer Silverwood
– Review Opportunity: Brave Women at Work Lessons in Confidence
– Blog Tour: Pets in Space 8 – 3 till 16 October – New!
– Book Blitz: The Final Haunt by Kat Mayor – 18 till 24 September – New!
I used to suffer from migraines so I know how you feel. They really didn’t let up until I hit menopause. Here’s my SP: https://bonniereadsandwrites.com/2023/08/06/sunday-post-beware-the-turtle/
I am sorry to hear you used to suffer from migraines too, I am glad to hear you no longer have them now. I am hoping mine stop when I hit menopause too, but who knows how long that still takes.
First off, just wanted to say thanks for coming over to my place! It was so good see you there. I am so sorry to hear that you experienced a migraine this past week. Those are the worst. Get all that hydration in this week. Looks like your tours are going well there. Hope you have some great books lined up this week.

The migraine was horrible. Luckily my tour work is picking up again, I had a few very quiet weeks, so I am glad to have some tours to work on again.
I really pity you those awful migraines. I wonder if some of it is heat-related, too. Glad you were able to get past this one and get some good work done.
Have a good week, Lola!
I don’t think they’re heat related, it’s been relatively cool here, although we have some warmer weather coming soon.
I’m so sorry that you get these migraines so often and the medicine doesn’t help at times. Hopefully my comment goes through this time.

I hope we solved your comment problem now. It’s strange how sometimes the medicine works so well and other times not at all.
Migraines are not good. I like the look of the Kinsey mystery…

The migraine was definitely not good. I like that Kinsey series, it’s historical cozy mystery. I have the next one in audio already and hope to listen to it soon.
It’s so difficult to do anything with a migraine. I hope you’re feeling all better now and your upcoming week is a better one. 🙂
I didn’t get much done while I had the migraine. Luckily I am feeling better now 🙂
I used to get horrible migraines all the time, but they’ve pretty much gone away. I totally feel for you! Hope you have a good week😁
I am glad to hear your migraines went away. I hope mine will go away eventually as well that would be nice.
I am sorry to see that you had a migraine!
It was a pain 🙁
Yay for the Pets in Space 8 blog tour! I hope we get lots of sign-ups. But I’m sorry to hear about the migraine. I know how debilitating those can be for you. Hugs.

I hope so too :). Sign ups are going well so far and hopefully the fact we started so early gathering sign ups will help too.
The migraine was really bad this time, hopefully next time the medicine works better again.
I’m sorry you had such a bad migraine and your medicine didn’t help. I hope this week is better!
Sometimes the medicine helps really well, others times not at all.
