The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This was a decent week, but it had it’s ups and downs. I had to visit the dentist this week on the same day it was storming with lots of wind and rain. So I had to travel through the storm to get there, which was no fun. Luckily I had no caries/ cavities, which is good. I was glad when I got home again. Then I got a migraine late this week. The medicines worked well against the pain, but I did struggle with some brain fog.
Work wise I worked on formatting an ebook and paperback for an author, which was fun. I hope to get some more formatting clients soon as I enjoy the work. I also did some assistant work for one of the authors I work for and made some good progress.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Witch’s Memory by Laura Greenwood and Arizona Tape
– Review: Hostile Taco-Ver by Gretchen Allen
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Monograph and Murder by A.C.F. Bookens
– Review: Aydarr by Veronica Scott
Tours open for sign-up on Lola’s Blog Tours:
– Review Opportunity: Omitted Pieces by Stephanie Hansen
– Review Opportunity: Blackbriar Cove by Jennifer Silverwood
– Review Opportunity: Brave Women at Work Lessons in Confidence
– Blog Tour: Craving Beauty by Jennifer Silverwood – 17 till 30 July
Working for authors and formatting books actually sounds fun and I assume you can do from home. Sounds like a good job. 🙂
Have a terrific week.

It is a fun job and it’s handy being able to work from home 🙂
I hear what you say about formatting! I’ve just finished formatting my ebook and paperback and it’s fiddly and time-consuming. I’m hoping in due course to be able to pay someone else to do that chore for me – but first I need to restart my writing career! I hope you enjoyed the Lindsay Buroker book – I discovered her books while I was really sick in 2021 and I found them a lifeline. I haven’t yet had the pleasure of reading the Death Before Dragons series. Have a great week, Lola:).
I actually enjoy the formatting so far. It can be a bit fiddly and time consuming when things go wrong, but so far I’ve been enjoying it. I hope you can restart your writing career!
I really like Lindsay Buroker’s books, at least the ones I read so far. The Death Before Dragons series is a good one and these later books in the series are even better. I am sad I almost finished it, but luckily she has many more books to check out.
Too bad you had to go through the storm to the dentist, but yay for no cavities or problems. Glad your formatting side of the business is keeping you busy and its enjoyable. Bummer about the migraine. I had a bad non-migraine headache earlier this week from the heat so I sympathize with you.
Have a good week, Lola!
The storm was not fun, but I was glad I didn’t have any cavities at least. I hope I can find some more formatting clients as I enjoy it so far. Sorry to hear you had a headache from the heat, hopefully the weather is cooler now for you.
Glad to hear there were no cavities! That’s great! 🙂 I hate having to go out in storms.

I really disliked having to travel through the storm, but at least I didn’t have any cavities.
Glad your dentist visit went off without a hitch (apart from the storm). That’s a load off for a while at least. Hope you have a great week.

I am always happy when the dentist visit is over with again.
