The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This was a busy and full week. Something went wrong last week when a repair guy/ handyman worked on some things here and he had to stop by again to resolve it this week. Then the appointment didn’t go through and that had to happen later in the week instead, then it also took longer than expected. Then there was another tiring appointment. As well as it being the last week of the month, so I had to wrap up my assistant work for this month.
Work wise I finished up this month’s assistant work and I got a new review opportunity live. I also got an author who booked some formatting for two of her books and I look forward to working on that next week.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: The Shadow Rule by Novae Caelum
– Review: A High Whisk Situation by H.Y. Hanna
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Witch’s Memory By Laura Greenwood and Arizona Tape
– Review: Hostile Taco-Ver by Gretchen Allen
Tours open for sign-up on Lola’s Blog Tours:
– Review Opportunity: Omitted Pieces by Stephanie Hansen
– Review Opportunity: Blackbriar Cove by Jennifer Silverwood
– Review Opportunity: Brave Women at Work Lessons in Confidence – New!
– Blog Tour: Craving Beauty by Jennifer Silverwood – 17 till 30 July
Sometimes those repair jobs take up more time like that, but I’m glad its finally over for you. The new work tasks look like a good challenge.
Have a good week, Lola!
It was a pain it took longer, but I am glad it’s done now.
Repairs can sometimes be frustrating ad time consuming especially when things don’t go as plained. Glad you got it resolved. Hope you have a better week and Happy July!
It sure was time consuming, glad it’s done now.
I hate it when maintenance has to come because sometimes they just take too darn long. I hope next week is a better one for you.

It rarely seems to go fast with these sort of appointments, but luckily it’s done now.
We’re back from Europe! And I miss the weather in London, actually. I liked the cooler weather there. Here’s it’s HOT and HUMID. Ugh. I think I’m slowly becoming an autumn person.

I hope you had a great vacation! We had some nice cooler weather here as well, but last month was really warm and this weekend is warm again too. I don’t like the hot and humid weather and prefer spring and autumn temperature wise.
