The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
This week there was a bit more sunshine, which helped a bit for my mood. I wake up so much easier if I get some light in the mornings. I got a bunch of non-work things done this week as well as some work ofcourse. I started the week by cleaning our the freezer, there was a lot of ice forming and it started making more and more noise, so it really needed to get done. So I defrosted it, cleaned and also looked through everything that was in there and threw a few out of date things away. It’s nice to have it all clean again now. We also cleaned out part of a cabinet and that was enough for one week as I still had to get some work done too.
Work wise I worked on a new true crime blog tour that’s now live. I am working on more tours and hope to have another one live next week. A new tour got booked too this week and I did the usual email replies and checking sign ups. I also made a start on this month’s assistant work for the authors I work for.
What did I read this week?
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Peppermint Tea and Nothing is Free by Laura Greenwood
– Review: Reindeer Games by Finley Chuva
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Mystic Persons by Ada Bell
– Review: The Gingerbread Witch by Laura Greenwood
– Review: Pawsitively Poisonous by Melissa Erin Jackson
Tours open for sign-up on Lola’s Blog Tours:
– Review Opportunity: Lily Makes a Way by Susan Count
– Review Opportunity: Scattered Legacy by Marlene M Bell
– Review Opportunity: Silver Hollow book by Jennifer Silverwood
– Review Opportunity: Close Your Eyes by Chris Tomasini
– Blog Tour: Killer Case Files by Jamie Malton – 13 till 26 February – New!
I’ve been reading more Asian literary fiction and dropping the rom coms for a while, much as I enjoy them.
I hope you’re enjoying your Asian literary fiction books 🙂
I always good to clean the freezer. A lot of stuff gets put in there and forgotten.
Have a great week.

It felt good to clean the freezer and throw a few of the out of date things away.
Love the cover of Reindeer Games! I actually cleaned my freezer out over Christmas break too. I don’t cook a ton, but I’ll buy meat and then not feel like cooking it, so I stick it in the freezer. Well, some of it had been there since last March, so I figured probably time to get rid of it. Hope you have a good week!

What a coincidence you just cleaned your freezer too, it’s always nice to get that done. I mostly had some frozen fruit for smoothies I didn’t get around to using.
I agree – sunshine makes a big difference for me too! I’m glad you got some better weather and I hope it keeps up for you. And I so enjoy that feeling of having cleaned up/out an area. I did Dante’s toys over break and it’s such a relief.
have a great week!

I just can’t seem to wake up well without some sun light, last week was nice, but this week has been super gloomy again. It really is a nice feeling to clean something like that up which doesn’t have to be done often.
I need to come up with a year long cleaning schedule and pick a few big tasks each month and maybe coordinate it with my big yard work tasks too. My freezer is packed and I get stuff ahead because we don’t know if we will be able to get some things with the various supply issues. I hope you get the light this week.

I can’t plan things like when I clean up, I just have to be in the right mood for it, which is a pain as things don’t get done for a long time sometimes. It was so good to finally get the freezer clean.
I hate the defrosting of the freezer, but then I also love the end result. I will open it often after cleaning it out just to look at it and admire my job. Lol.

I did exactly the same, every time I opened it after cleaning I just got happy to see it so clean :). It’s a bit of a pain to defrost it, but also very satisfying when it’s done.
I’m glad you had more sunshine and it made you feel better.

Thanks! I just wish it stayed that way as this week was super gloomy again.
