Willow’s future is on the line, now she has to figure out how to make it a reality.

A trip to Morocco puts Willow and Azíl front and centre at the discovery of the century, but for Willow, it isn’t enough, particularly with their life back home, and their future at the coffee shop under threat.

With both of them determined to find a way that no one has to lose, the clock is ticking for them to win Azíl’s freedom back from the Sect and put it all behind them once and for all.

Strawberry Milkshake And What’s At Stake is book ten of the Cauldron Coffee Shop Series, a cozy urban fantasy featuring a coffee shop-owning witch, an ancient warlock cursed to live in a teapot, and a cheeky cat. It includes an m/f romantic subplot.

If you love cozy urban fantasy, coffee shop settings, low-stakes adventures, cat familiars, and a warm and fuzzy feeling vibe, start the Cauldron Coffee Shops series with Pumpkin Spice And All Things Nice.

My Review

I wanted a comforting and easy read and decided to set my current read aside to read this one. And it was the right choice. I really enjoyed this tenth book in the Cauldron Coffee Shop series. This series has such a wonderful cozy vibe and I just love reading about Willow and Azíl. There is no drama and I love how they interact together, think things through and are there for one another.

In this book they have the chance to free Azíl forever from his curse, but the price they need to pay is steep. There’s a lot of them coming to terms with it and even some alternative options by the end. I felt so bad for what they would have to give up, but also understood how important Azíl’s freedom was.

Even with that going on I still felt it was a very hopeful and cozy comforting read. I liked reading about how Willow and Azíl dealt with everything and they are just such an awesome couple to read about. I really like how they communicate and are there for the other and work things out together. Besides that there is a big discovery for Willow’s friend Sabine and more about Wilow’s cousin Clover as well. And Willow is still working on figuring out what she wants to do next to the coffee shop. The ending makes me really curious about what will happen next.

To summarize: I continue to enjoy this series it has a wonderful cozy vibe and I love reading about Willow and Azíl. They are such a great couple the way they are there for one another, communicate and work things through together. They have a difficult decision to make and there is some exciting discovery in Morocco at Sabine’s dig. All in all another great book in this series and the ending makes me excited for the next one!
