After 40 years in a dead marriage, she yearns to be alone. Fate has other plans.Widow Kathleen O’Sullivan hungers for a life where no one makes demands, and she has the bathroom to herself. For forty years she shared the sink, toilet, and shower with a man who left the seat up and hairs in the sink. Once this year-long road trip with her sisters is done, she’s going to live the good life … all by herself.
When she meets a charming rancher, she swears to St. Jude she and the Texan won’t be any more than friends. She enjoys his company, his horses, and his three very clean bathrooms.
But then disaster strikes!
She realizes she’s falling in love with him.
That is not in her plan at all!
It’s time to get things back on the right track.
Filled with all the humorous things that could possibly go wrong on a ranch, Her Texas Cowboy, is a later-in-life romantic comedy. It’s the last in a three-book series, but can be read as a standalone.

My Review
I received a free copy from the author and voluntarily reviewed it.
I really enjoyed the first two books in this series and was excited to read the third and final book following the youngest sister Kathleen. Kathleen has been keeping a secret regarding her relationship with her late husband and she’s determined to never marry again, but that conviction is tested when she meets a Texan rancher during her travels with her sisters. And she finally reveals her secret as well.
Diane and Liz found their romance in the previous two books and I was exited to see the same happen to Kathleen especially with how opposed she was to the idea of romance. It was great to see her slowly fall in love and question some of her ideas like how she would never find romance again. I also appreciated how she stays true to herself, her convictions and what she believes.
Rodrigo is such a perfect match for her. I liked how they both share a love for ranching as they both own a ranch and they both love horse riding. I liked seeing how Rodrigo appreciates Kahtleen and how he treats her. He makes it clear what he wants, but gives her the space to make her own decisions. I liked reading about the two of them, from their horse riding adventures, to their conversations and the mini golf date.
I liked seeing Kathleen make a new friend in this book. I also liked seeing a bit more of Diane and Liz, how they supported Kathleen and were there for her, but also encouraged her and pestered her to give Rodrigo a chance. It was fun to read about these three sisters and their RV travels. The epilogue shares each of the sisters perspectives and it was fun to see a glimpse of their futures.
To summarize: I really enjoyed this third and final book in this series. I liked reading about the three sisters as they travel in an RV around the country. This book follows Kathleen’s point of view as she falls in love in with a Texas rancher. Kathleen is determined to stay single and I enjoyed seeing her chance her mind. Rodrigo was such a perfect match for her, I liked how he treated her, appreciated her and respected her. The way he makes clear what he wants and gives Kathleen the space to make her own decision was great. The ending was sweet and I liked seeing a bit more of each sister and a glimpse of their futures.
