In today’s post I want to share my favorite ebooks of 2024. I tried to avoid too much overlap with my other top ten lists this week, but couldn’t resist including Key Lime Sky again.

I am linking up with Books of My Heart for their Top of 2024.

My top 11 Ebooks of 2024

Earl Grey and New Rules in Play by Laura Greenwood

Earl Grey and New Rules in Play

One of my goals for this year was to finish this series and I managed to do so. This is probably my favorite series by this author so far. It’s super cozy and has one of my favorite fictional couples. The romance is so well done and I just loved reading about these two. It’s hard to pick a favorite from the books in this series I read this year so I went with this one as I fondly remember some of the scenes in this book.

Love & Other Disasters by Anita Kelly

Love & Other Disasters

Anita Kelly is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors and two of her books made the list this year. This was a lovely romance set against the back drop of a cooking contest. I really liked both Dahlia and London, their romance has a bit of sunshine-grumpy vibes at the start. I really liked them together.

Navigating With You by Jeremy Whitley

Navigating With You

This was one of those books that took me by surprise. I wasn’t really sure what to expect from it and requested a review copy as it sounded good. I loved this graphic novel with a wonderful romance. I loved seeing the friendship and later romance develop between the two of them. They were so encouraging and accepting of each other and it was awesome to see. Neesha’s disability was handled very well and there is some mental health representation as well. The art really ads to the story and I thought the art-style fit the story well.

Key Lime Sky by Al Hess

Key Lime Sky

This was the book I didn’t know I needed. I loved this one and it was one of the few books that kept my attention during a stressful time. I liked the plot and seeing Denver figure out what was going on. It could get a bit creepy at times, but it also has these lovely quiet romantic moments as well. I liked that blend. It also felt very real, relatable and raw. I liked reading about Denver and the autistic representation was so well done. I had a great time reading this book and I am so glad I decided to give this one a try.

A Mythical Case of Murder by Melissa Erin Jackson

A Mythical Case of Murder

This series is so much fun! One of the best paranormal cozy mystery series I’ve read so far. The author balances all the different elements well and the story is well written and interesting. Deandra is a likable and caring main character and I enjoy reading about her. The paranormal element is very present throughout the story and is part of the mystery as well. The mystery was very well written, it kept me guessing and some important clues come to light both at the start and end.

Ghosts of the Catacombs

This one has everything I want from an urban fantasy with a fresh twist. The ghost whispering aspect is so interesting and I like the french setting as well as the cute hedgehog pet. This series really captured my attention with the likable main character, interesting take of the genre and engaging storyline. I am on book 3 already.
