About Me: Favourite Fictional Couples

About Me is a feature on Lola’s Review where I talk about me. Usually these posts are everything that doesn’t fall under any standard header, like blog tours, book blitzes, cover reveals or review. About Me posts usually are about books, but are more personal discussions of a certain topic. If an About Me post is about a non-book topic it gets the non-book content posts tag and will be posted on a saturday Today I am going to talk about fictional couples and which fictional couples are my favourites. As I mentioned before romance is really important for me […]

How to Make Neat html posts

How to Make Neat html posts

Let me start by saying I am not a pro on the matter, but I do know a bit of html and there is little that annoys me more than what I call “messed-up html code”. I am sure there is a real name for it, but it’s basically a html code full of crap because the posts was originally created in word document. Every time I receive a pre-made html code from a tour organizer or author I am hopefull it will be nice html code and then I open it and flinch. And this happens every time. Okay […]

About Me: Our Rats

About Me: Our Rats

Today I am going to talk about my rats today. We have 4 rats and I love them so much! They are called Smarties, Snickers, Skittles and Pita. Pita is the only rat who’s from a different nest and while she is half a week younger than the other rats, she actually is the biggest rat. In behavior they are really different though. Their cage […]

Happy New Year post!

There where some nice fireworks after midnight and our rats actually seemed interested in all the fireworks although they didn’t like the close fireworks or the loud bangs and they where a bit skittish the whole day. This was the first New Years eve in our new house and I was happy to find out that we had a […]

Best books I read in 2013

Best books I read in 2013

As today is the last day of the year I want to end the year the same way I did last year, with a list of the best books I read this year. Actually this list contains all books I gave 5 stars this year. In total I have read 143 books this year, from those I gave 17 books a 5 star rating this year. Last year I had 26 books on this list. I think I have become even more difficult with dealing out those 5 stars. On the other hand I did gave 70 books a 4 […]
