Cenatur Redemption(Touched #4)
by Nancy Straight
Blurb:
Cami and Drake’s honeymoon is cut short as they escape attacks by the Council Enforcers and head to South Africa for the meeting of the Centaur Council, which has ordered a death sentence on Cami and all members of the Lost Herd. The Council Chairman is her grandmother, her most dangerous foe. Surrounded by family and friends, Drake and Cami face the Council, Cami’s power-hungry uncles, an ambitious twin, taking the battle all the way to Zeus to attempt to win the freedom of the Tak herd.
My Review:
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
While there was a lot of build-up for this book, this book made totally up for it. I really enjoyed this book and it was a great ending for this series, although at the end of the book it said there will be more books and I would love to read more about Cami and Drake and what will happen next to them. This book was filled with action and had some sad and also some happy moments. I really like this author her writing style.
The beginning was a bit slow, but the pace picked up soon. The story took some surprising directions and I enjoyed seeing a bit more of the gods in this book. Some things are cleared up and some truths come to light finally. There where a few scenes with a bit too much drama to my liking, but overall I really enjoyed the book and it even nearly made me cry towards the end, the ending was really well done.
The characters where great in this book as well, although after the beginning we didn’t see anymore from bianca and gag, it felt a bit like they where forgotten after that. And there was a scene at the beginning with them that felt a bit unnessecary. There where some different point of views, but the focus was mostly on Cami and to be honest I felt like the other point of views distracted a bit from the main plot in this book. I liked getting to know Cameron a bit better and there was a fun scene involving him and his gaurdian towards the end of the book.
The romance between Cami and Drake was done well in this book. I really felt their connection in this bok although I am still a bit sad for Daniel.
There is some world building in this book as well, but mostly clarifications and some things about the gods.
To conclude: I really liked this book and it wrapped up things nicely. After a bit of a slow start the pace really picked up, with the ending being the strongest part of the book. I really liked the characters in this book as well and if the author decides to write more books in this series I can’t wait to read them!

I can’t wait to read your reviews of this series :)! I really liked how this book ended, as I was a little bit afraid it would disapoint after all the build-up in book 3, but I am so glad it didn’t.
Having just read a review where book #3 of a series was a big disappointment, I’m glad it’s not the case for this one ! This series is on my list 😉
