The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to  share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead.

This is the first time I participate in this meme and because I only started my blog last saturday I will include all I have done on my blog so far.

Last week I posted on my blog about:
My first blog post – welcome post
Series feature: the Dwellers by David Estes- including giveaway
The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Milay- Review
Radiant (Unearthly #2.5) by Cynthia Hand – Review
Renhala by Amy Joy Lutchen- Review
Free Souls (Mindjack #3) by Susan Kaye Quinn – Cover Reveal

What you can expect from me next week:
– Blogger interview with Kayleigh from K-books (I am hoping to have this up tomorrow and will post a interview with a blogger from then on every saturday) – Interview
– Ward against Death by Melanie Card- Review
– Blog Tour Blue Moon by J.A. Belfield – Blog Tour + Review + Giveaway
– Blogger interview with Tiffany from a Purrfect read – Interview

Because I am very bad with planning ahead which books I am going to read I can only predict one review that I will post next week (because that is the book I am currently reading). So I will probably post more reviews than mentioned here.

Book Haul:

– Free Souls (Mindjack #3) by Susan Kaye Quinn – e-book – I bought this myself
– Oath of Servitude by C.E. Wilson – e-book – for review (my first review request for this blog, yay!)
– Furthermore: an Anthology by Rebekah Campbell, Amber Garr, David Estes, Leigh Michael, Karen Amanda Hooper, Stephanie Judice, Mayandree Michel – e-book – I bought this myself

So that’s my sunday post for this week. I think I will continue participating in this meme every week, because I think it’s a nice way to summarize everything that happened and will happen on this blog in one post.

    • David Estes has written two short stories in Furthermore and I am really looking forward to reading it :). I hope the other short stories are also good.

    • I read a review from someone who didn’t like YA and he loved the Sea of Tranquility, so I think you can still pick it up even though you don’t like YA. I think it is more important if the story appeals to you and if you like character-driven stories, but that’s my opinion ;).

  1. You had an awesome first week, and so delighted you are sharing it all on The Sunday Post. I love doing this meme, because i get to see what i missed on everyone’s blog and what is coming up..plus all of their new arrivals..LOL. I am off to read some of your reviews.

    • I think it’s a great meme, because you get to share the links to all your posts this week and it’s more than only a book haul. I plan to keep on doing this meme :), I really enjoyed making this post.

  2. The Readingista

It looks like you were busy on the blog. I would like to try the Mindjack series. New follower, looking forward to your posts.

    • Thanks for following! I am following you back ;). I really enjoyed the first two books in the Mindjack series and can’t wait to read the last book!
