What happened this week?
This week was a stressful one, but some things got resolved and others will hopefully get resolved soon. I had another dentist appointment on Monday, this time to get my teeth cleaned. So that was a bit stressful again, but the dental hygienist was friendly and explained everything well, which was nice. Glad to have that done now.
The new graphics card for my computer arrived this week and we were able to swap out the old one for this one and the noise that’s been bothering me for almost 3 months now is finally gone. It’s such a relief. I am glad we were able to figure this out. We still have a fan that we want to swap out as I can hear that one now and we already bought a replacement fan for that anyway, so we want to swap that one out soon as well.
Besides that I had an annoying issue I was dealing with for an invoice we received that included something we shouldn’t have to pay for, I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while now, but between slow and unhelpful replies it has taken long. I finally figured out what happened there and hopefully the company will believe me and adjust things so we get an invoice for the correct amount.
My sibling had their PhD defense this week and we were able to watch it online, which was pretty neat. I also called them beforehand to wish them luck. So that’s exciting as they now finished their PhD.
I got my blood test result and had a brief look at them online, I couldn’t figure everything out, but from what I could tell as all the values look good and nothing seems amiss. I still have some foods I want to try removing from my diet to see if that gives me relief of my symptoms, but if that doesn’t work I might see if I can see a specialist. This is taking so long to figure out.
And I did some formatting for a blogger friend whose gettign ready to publish her first book, so that was fun to do.
