The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
I am mostly recovered from being sick, but my boyfriend is still struggling a bit with some symptoms and being tired. This was a tiring week with me still recovering and my boyfriend being quite sick. Then later this week I got my period migraine, luckily it’s not too bad yet this time, but still dealing with some pain and brain fog. Then yesterday I had two migraines with aura, they don’t really hurt, but they are annoying and tiring as I can’t really do much due to my vision being disturbed by the aura. I listened to my audiobook until they went away.
I haven’t resolved my pc noise issue yet and doing anything behind my computer is annoying with the noise, so i have to wear earplugs if I want to do anything behind my computer. We did some research and found it it’s probably the fans making the noise, so I bought some new fans, now we just have to install them. Fingers crossed this resolves it as I don’t really want to and can’t afford a whole new computer.
We finally got our small fake Christmas tree set up. My boyfriends parents gave us this one and it’s smaller than the one we had in our previous house as we didn’t have space for that one. It’s quite festive and fits nicely on a corner of our table.
Besides that we got some good financial news, we applied for a financial aid thing for paying the rent a while ago and we got approved for it for next year, so this mostly resolves our financial issues. So that was great news.
I managed to finish my favorite books with neurodivergent characters post for later this month. Now I only want to see if I can do one about the books I re-read, but we’ll see if I can find the time to do that one. I also got a bit of work done for one of the authors I work for.
What did I read this week?
I’ve been in a mood to read books in series I already started and all of the books I read this week fell into hat category. Most of these were all great books, but The Unlucky Fae And The Good Luck Charm didn’t fully work for me.
I also finished The Science of Shopping which was a good nonfiction book about consumer psychology and the science of shopping.
