What happened this week?
This week was a bit busier. Early on in the week I put in some extra time and try to fix my blog issues as I thought I finally figured out what was causing it. I found some leftover files from old plugins that I uninstalled that were still left somehow and I figured that might be the cause. So I went through those and removed them, but it didn’t fix the issue. I also see my site gets targeted by a lot of bots again, so that might be contributing as well. Either way I did not get the blog issue resolved sadly, it’s been very frustrating trying to figure this out and I am so annoyed I spend so much time on it and still haven’t figured it out. And every time I want to do something like write a blog post or comment, it takes so many tries and constantly reloading pages till it works and it all takes so much more time and effort.
Besides that we had to vote this week. This took some effort as I had to vote in a new place and that always a bit tricky for me, but I got it done. Then later this week I had a doctor appointment, which was the first time I went to the new doctor so that was stressful too. And there isn’t really a solution yet, just some possibilities and things to try and see if that resolves my symptoms. So that wasn’t quite what I had hoped to hear.
On a more positive note we got the good news we got our financial aid. So that’s a relief.
What did I read this week?
Earl Grave Tea was a fun autumn themed cozy mystery book. I also finished Shadow Seer by Laura Greenwood, but will post it as a review for the whole series box set.

Glad you got your financial aid! That’s got to be a load off your mind. I keep having hit or miss issues with loading the posts on your blog. And it’s even within the same day, some load and some don’t. Ugh. I know the person who hosts my blog said that we’d been having a ton of scambots hitting the sites too, so it’s not just you. I hope that this week goes well for you!

A relief that you’ve got your financial aid. But I feel your pain regarding the technical issues surrounding your blog – I recall when I couldn’t get onto my blog site, I felt so helpless and unempowered. Especially as all they had to offer was the suggestion that I start a new blog!!! I hope you manage to get your issues sorted out and that the coming week is a good one for you, Lola.
