The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What happened this week?
I was still tired from last weeks stressful meeting for the financial aid and this week was a bit of a struggle due to that. There were still some important things I had to get done this week and some things that went wrong. I struggled with low energy levels and everything felt like too much effort.
This week also felt a lot more gloomy weather wise and I figured the lesser amount of daylight was also impacting my energy levels, so I got my daylight lamp out of storage, which has been helping a bit.
I also wanted to look things over on my blog now that everything was working again and get everything in good order to hopefully prevent issues in the future, but somehow messed things up and I am getting frequent error messages again. I then spend time trying to resolve it and undoing the changes I made, but that didn’t resolve it either, so I made the changes again and tried some other things. So now I am dealing with blog issues again, ugh this has been so frustrating. If things look differently that’s why, let me know if something doesn’t work. I also changed some plugins and settings again, so the commenting system looks differently again too.
I did somehow made some time to write a new discussion type blog post about 5 Books I Want to Read this Autumn. Let me know which books you hope to read these next few months!
On a more positive note my mom’s third cancer treatment went well and she’s still doing well. I also got a few more things around the house done.
What did I read this week?
Besides these I also finished Rosa’s New Game by S.J. Pajonas from Pets in Space 10.
This week I blogged about:
– Review: Donut Summer by Anita Kelly
– Review: Ghosts of the Provence by Janna Ruth
– Lola’s Ramblings: 5 Books I Want to Read this Autumn
– Review: Baal by Laura Greenwood
What to expect next week on the blog:
– Review: Hyperspeed by Lily James
– Review: Tentacles & Triathlons by Ashley Bennett
– Review: Horus by Laura Greenwood

Sorry to hear the blog is acting up. Can your host take a look at it? Maybe they can find the error. Low energy and being tired, stinks. Maybe you need to take a day to just decompress. For me sometime (sometimes) that works. I get too over into things and it stresses me out.
I hope this week is better for you Lola! Happy Reading! oxoxo
I am not sure if my host looks at that as I just have a generic host not a wordpress specific one. I think it has something to do with wordpress, php or plugins, but who knows what. I still have a few things I want to try, but I just am so annoyed I have to fix it all and it doesn’t just work. I did some days to decompress this week which was nice. I definitely have the same problem of getting too into things and getting stressed out.
I’m sorry your blog is troublesome.. I did get the following warning (on my iPad) when I came to visit “This Connection Is Not Secure. This website does not support connecting securely over HTTPS”
I hope the next week is less stressful !
Yeah that makes sense as I don’t have https set up, I don’t have the time or money currently to look into that. The issue I have is with sometimes the blog doesn’t load or gives an error, but it doesn’t happen all the time.
Glad your mom’s cancer treatments continue to go well. The blog site issues are frustrating. I had something similar happen when I tried to pull up my own blog this week, but when I reached out to the person who hosts for me, she got it fixed right away. And offered to refund my monthly fee I pay her. I hope this is a better week for you. I think I have my novel ready to go and just need time to sit down and send it over to you and have you format it for me. That’s on my to-do list for this month!

I don’t think my host provides service like that, maybe I have to switch hosting eventually as it would be nice to have someone else help me out. Which hosting do you use?
That’s such exciting news you have your novel almost ready. I’ll keep an eye out for your email. I look forward to formatting it for you :). And please let me know if you have any preferences when it comes to the formatting.
Blog issues are always frustrating. I hope you can get it solved. That’s great news on your mom. I hope it continues to be positive for her. Have a great week!
I hope I can resolve it as the blog issues are so frustrating. I am glad my mom seems to do so well with the treatments with minimal side effects.
I’m glad your Mom is doing better. I hope things improve on the blog issues and energy levels this week.

Thanks! I hope so too.
Oh, I sympathize with you about the blog troubles! I need to update some things on my blog; it keeps dropping out. Not crashing, exactly, just “not able to connect to the database at this time.) I’m going to need to contact someone to talk me through how to do it.
I’m glad your mom’s treatment is going well. I hope she continues to do well.
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing blog troubles as well. Mine also doesn’t crash, but sometimes can’t load a page or is briefly inaccessible at times. Luckily it’s not all the time, but it can still be annoying. I hope you can resolve your blog issue.
Sorry to hear the blog is acting up again. Nothing worse than technical problems.
I agree, technical problems are such a hassle.
