sunday post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

What happened this week?

This week was a bit calmer than the previous ones. There was less to do on the house as we got a lot of the bigger things done now. One of the big things we still did this week was collect our new curtains which were ready and hang those, they look awesome and we plan to order form the same site in the future more of them as we want to replace some of our other curtains too. We worked on some smaller things this week as well. I also got to focus on some formatting work that I wrapped up this week and it was nice to get that done.

We had some autumn-y feeling days this week with lots of wind and rain and then some really warm days. So the weather was all over the place this week.

I also looked into my struggles with my blog going down all the time and I think it’s my site is getting targeted by bots as I saw an absurd amount of bot traffic. I already have plugins to deal with it, but they use slightly different ip addresses to get around some of my measurements. Let’s hope this stops soon or I can figure out how to set things up so they get blocked.

I called with my mom this week and she has had her second cancer treatment and is doing well so far. She isn’t too tired or in much pain and is surprisingly doing well. So that was good to hear and I am glad she’s doing well.

What did I read this week?

Mated to FenrirTentacles & TraithlonsEssentials of Murder

This week I blogged about:

Review: Arsenic and Old Books by Miranda James
Review: Knot Playing Fair: Book Two by Ember Blaze
Review: Seth by Laura Greenwood

What to expect next week on the blog:
