What happened this week?
This was a nice week, I got quite some reading done and spent time scheduling blog posts. I hope those of you who live in the US had a great thanksgiving!

Our dishwasher broke last week and this week someone stopped by to fix it. It seemed to be a minor problem as it was fixed pretty fast and luckily it felt within our warranty. I didn’t mind doing the dishes by hand, but I am happy to have my dishwasher back as well!

I always go to a certain supermarket close by, but as it was close I had to go to another supermarket for twoo weeks. This week it opened again and it changed a lot. They rebuild the whole store and it looks a lot different now, the store is a lot bigger and their assortment of goods is bigger. It was a lot of fun shopping there, although I had some trouble finding things due to the different layout. And they sell the vegetarian bapao’s again, yum! Those things are delicious and I haven’t been able to buy them for a few years and now they’re back!

I’ve been busy working on some more recipe posts for my upcoming cooking feature and decided I wanted a plugin to show those neat pin-it buttons over images to make pinning easier for people. I did some searching around and eventually decided on a plugin. It works pretty well and now almost every image is pinneable. I think it’s pretty neat!

I think I am going to stay away from Netgalley for a while. I got two books I was really excited for last week, but I ran into some problems when trying to read them and this isn’t the first time. I have a kobo e-reader and epub files work best on it. When I get a netgalley file it opens it in Adobe Digital Editions and from there I place it on my Kobo. Now in Adobe I can’t easily see whether the file is an epub or pdf, so only after putting it on my Kobo I find out if I cna read it. A pdf file shows up really small and I can’t read it without straining my eyes. And I hate having to contact publishers or authors for another file. And sometimes they don’t have another file and it’s just so frustrating as I really wanted to read those books and now I can’t.

I am a bit sad today is the last day of sci-fi month as I had a lot of fun participating. I do have to say that a month long challenge like this is quite challenging and I am kinda happy to get back to my normal schedule.

I am really happy with how well I did for blog ahead. I ended this month with 30 posts scheduled and wrote 25 of those during this month. I hope I can keep up the work and stay ahead! I really surprised myself as I didn’t expect to get this many posts written

– Friday: Baked Rice
– Saturday: veggies in sauce with noodles – used a wok sauce for the sauce and it was so bland the whole dish didn’t really taste lik anything.
I plan to try new recipes at leats once before making a recipe post as it’s easier to make something I already made once.

We made a cave for our rats in their cage this week. Pita found it first as we hid a doggy cookie inside, I think she smelled it. They seem to like their cave and it ust looks so cool. My boyfriend came up with the idea.
