Welcome to Rush Hunt. A YArush hosted scavenger hunt with exclusive content from a number of published and forthcoming Entranced titles, a huge prize, and loads of fun. Along the scavenger trail you’ll find a mix of YA and NA titles from Entranced Publishing’s Rush imprint.

The excitement starts October 25 and runs through to November 1. So hop along to the blogs on the list below and join in the fun. Each hosting blog will have exclusive content from a single title. If the post isn’t at the top of their blog look for the #RushHunt button in their sidebar, that should link to it. Not only will you get to read / see exclusive content, but there’s also a huge prize. That’s what you’re hunting for! Keep an eye open for the numbered clues in each post (ps mine is at the bottom of this post). You’ll need these in order to enter for a chance to win a massive stash of prizes.

Good luck!

Sleeper (Toy Soldiers #1)
by S.M. Johnston

Release Date: December 2, 2013
Publisher: Entranced Publishing
Genre: NA speculative fiction

Blurb:
A new heart should mean new life, not a living nightmare.

Mishca Richardson’s life is at an all-time high after her heart transplant. With new boyfriend, Ryder, the two of them have the perfect summer romance. Even the nightmares that have been plaguing her sleep since her operation can’t dull the high she’s on.

Things start to unravel as Mishca develops superhuman abilities. She does her best to hide them so as not to end up a science experiment in a lab. But she can’t ignore the instant attraction she experiences when she meets her university professor, Colin Reed.

Torn between the blossoming love and the obsession, Mishca must decide if she wants Ryder or Colin. But the organization responsible for her changes and her connection to Colin, is moving to secure Mishca for himself so that she can be the weapon he always intended her to be. If Mishca can’t resist her programming she’ll have a lot more to worry about than romance.

Sleeper is the first book in a New Adult Science Fiction Series. It releases in December. Today we’d love for you to meet one of the main characters, Ryder in this exclusive sneak peek/ character interview

Interview:
The original inspiration for Ryder’s style came from former NRL player Daniel Conn (warning, this link takes you to a semi naked hot guy!). He has the tatts, the body and the look that encapsulates Ryder. So find out about the guy who first captures Mishca’s heart, and then has to fight to keep it.

Name: Ryder Madson
Occupation: University student & sales assistant at The Fitness Factory.
Studying: Environmental law

Sharon: Tell us how you first met Mishca?
Ryder: I first laid eyes on her in The Fitness Factory. It was a bit odd as one minute she was in one outfit and then she was in another. It was when I saw her the second time that something just clicked. I was being a bit of a creepy stalker, watching her browse through the clothes, when she had some sort of anxiety attack. I rushed over to help her and thought that would be it, but fate had other plans.

Sharon: What do mean by that?
Ryder: Well, when Mishca turned up at the adoption support group I go to, I took that as a sign that I was meant to ask her out on a date. And then when her car broke down and I got to give her a lift home, that was my chance. I lost my nerve as the closer we got to her place. Luckily Mishca didn’t and initiated the date.

Sharon: What attracted you to Mishca?
Ryder: She has this inner strength, but also a vulnerability that makes me want to do everything in my power to protect her. Obviously we have common ground with both of us being adopted, but I love listening to her talk about drama, Smelly Belly (her cat), movies and just about anything. She matches wits with my best friend Finlay, and that is not an easy feat.

Sharon: How do you get on with Mishca’s parents?
Ryder: Her mum is so adorable. We get on really well. Things are a bit strained with her dad, but that’s not surprising. I don’t think any father would appreciate discovering their daughter minus their shirt in their date’s car. *looks away awkwardly* It is not what you think.

To find out more about Mishca and Ryder, check out SLEEPER (Toy Story Series Book #1) when it comes out December 2.

Rush Hunt Number: 14

Okay so that’s it for my stop during the Scavenger Rush Hunt. Don’t forget to check out the other participating blogs and enter the rafflcopter on YARush!
