Blurb:
Protect the innocent. If there is any one principle that drives hit man Nadia Stafford, it’s this. In her own mind, when she was thirteen, she failed to protect her older cousin Amy from being murdered. Now she fails again, disastrously, when she botches a hit. To help her find her equilibrium, her mentor, Jack, brings her a gift: the location and new identity of the predator who killed her cousin and disappeared after the case against him failed.

Vengeance, justice? With the predator in her sights, nothing seems more right, more straightforward, more easy. But finding justice is never as simple as it seems.

My Review
I really enjoyed the first two books in this series, but Wild Justice was even better. It was the perfect ending to the series and while the previous two books where good, this one was even better. Even though I bought all 3 books in this series before reading book 1, I still had my doubts that I wouldn’t like it, but on the other hand I believed I would because it’s written by Kelley Armstrong. I hadn’t expect to like it as much as I did. The Nadia Stafford series is easily just as good as Kelley her other series and I am sad to see it end.

Wild Justice starts off fast paced and it doesn’t stop, it just keeps going. Wild Justice is full off action, romance and emotions. This case is a lot more personal and emotional then the cases in the previous books and there is quite some attention for what happened with Amy twenty years ago. I felt so bad for both Nadia and Amy and for what they had to go trough and it was good to finally see her dealing with it a bit. I really couldn’t put this book down and I don’t think I ever put it down beside when nessecary because I had to sleep or eat. It’s so good and I had to know what would happen next and how it would end.

Nadia is such a great character and this book it get’s even more personal for her. It was an emotional book and I really felt for her and what she went through. Luckily she had other people to help her out, Jack, Quinn and Evelyn are all there. And while I didn’t like Evelyn after what she did in the last book, in this book there is this phone call with Nadia and she says some thing that really redeemed her in my opinion. On the other hand I wish they didn’t need Quinn. While he is a nice guy, I felt like he was just in the way and making soem things complicated, although it was obvious they needed him. I liked the cast of side characters and I especially liked Jack, he has all these charactestics that make him so unique and different. There are some great scenes with him in it and I just had to laugh a few times at his characteristicly short sentences.

Also the romance is upped a bit in this book. And it’s both frustrating and done so well. I loved how it was handled and I was happy with how it all wrapped up. And it was certainly worth the wait, Jack and Nadia are awesome together and I liked seeing them finally together. Although there where a few moments where I almost started to doubt they would get together in time for us still to enjoy that. Kelley Armstrong knows how to write a good slow building romance, even in a book like this where the focus isn’t on the romance.

To conclude: Wild Justice is a great conclusion to this series. I loved it! This books is a fast paced, emotional and action filled book. The romanced angle is upped a bit in this book and I couldn’t be more happy with how it all played out. This book was awesome and at the same time I am sad it’s over. I really liked these characters and would love to see more from them.

    • Thanks :). I also love Kelley Armstrong her YA books. And Derek is such an awesome character!

If you like books with hit men or assassins then I think you will enjoy this one as well! There is a lot of action, but also other plots and character development and even some romance.
