But the last thing she expects is to find her fated mate, or for him to be her fated mate.
The moment he meets Lottie, demon prince Archie knows that she’s special. Now all he needs to do is prove it to her. Luckily for him, she seems more than a little enchanted by his tail.
As the two of them spend more time together, they realise that there’s no denying the bond between them.

My Review
I received a free copy from the author and voluntarily reviewed it.
The Demon and the Fairy is a rework of what was previously the Rosewood Academy series. I didn’t actually read this story in it’s previous form, only book 1 in that series, so this story was new to me. I enjoyed this cute and sweet monster romance academy story with a bit of heat.
This book is as the title suggest about a demon prince and a fairy who fall in love. I liked meeting Lottie and Archie and seeing their instant connection as they meet and them knowing they are mates. I liked the magi-tag date they went on and seeing them grow closer. This one is pretty short and I did feel it could’ve been longer, but I enjoyed this one and could feel their connection. It was just a very fun and cute read and I enjoyed this introduction to the series.
I liked learning a bit about this world with different types of monsters. I liked how Lottie had brown moth wings and antennae where Archie has purple skin and has a tail and horns. I would’ve loved a bit more world building and learning more about the races and the world, but I assume there will be more of that in future books. I also wanted a scene of Lottie flying up to the castle to different floors as it got mentioned that was a possibility, but sadly that wasn’t there. I hope we learn more about the world, the different monster races and the academy in future books.
To summarize: This was a fun and cute read and I enjoyed reading this one. This is a rework of a previously published book, but I didn’t read it back then so this story was new to me. I liked reading about Lottie and Archie and seeing them fall in love, they were sweet together and I liked reading about their dates. I liked learning a bit about demons and fairies, but there wasn’t as much about the world building as I wanted and I hope to learn even more about the races, world and the academy in future books. I look forward to the next book!
