Swipe Right For Kuk (Jinx Paranormal Dating Agency #3.5)
by Laura Greenwood
My Rating: 3 stars
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Age Category: Adult
Type of romance: m/f
Blurb:
Swiping right for a god could lead to more than this witch ever expected. The last thing Anise expected when she signed up to a dating app was to match with a god, and yet now, she’s found exactly that happening.
Kuk has no idea why he finds this witch so enchanting when he doesn’t think that of the others, but there’s something about Anise that he can’t get out of his head.
Will the two of them take a chance on their match?

My Review
I wanted to start reading Mated to Fenrir by this author, but then realized one of the side characters mentioned in the first chapter was the main character of Swipe Right For Kuk that I hadn’t read yet. So I decided to read this book first. Swipe Right for Kuk is a cute short romantic read about two character who meet in a dating app.
I really like this series and it was nice to get to this story I hadn’t read. It is a shorter one than the full numbered books and it did feel a bit too quick for my taste due to that, but I could feel the connection between Kuk and Anise. I enjoyed seeing their romance develop and them growing closer, but I just would’ve liked a bit more about them. To get to know the characters a bit more and read a bit more about them and their romance. It was fun to see how they met via a dating app and connected through messages first before meeting in real life.
It was a sweet and fun read and I quickly got through it. It was nice to meet Anise and it also introduces her friend who gets her own romance in Baal, which I hope to read soon. As well as some mentions of other gods and characters. I liked learning a bit about Kuk and how he was a god of the darkness before dawn and there’s a nice scene of the two of them witnessing the dawn. I also look forward to gettign Kuaket’s story who is his sister.
To summarize: I like this series and I am glad I finally got around to reading this one. It was a sweet and cute romantic read. It was a bit of a shorter read than the full numbered books in the series and a bit too short for my taste as I would’ve liked a bit more about the character and seeing their romance develop. The set up was fun with how they meet on a dating app and then meet in real life. There are some nice scenes. And I liked seeing some side characters who have their own story, some of which I haven’t read yet.

Very nice review. I’m glad to see you enjoyed. This does look cute. Thank you.
The whole series is fun so far and I am glad I went back to read this one that I hadn’t read yet.
Sometimes it is so obvious that a side character already got their story that it can be distracting wondering about it. Good that you could pick this one up and get a fun and fast one with the side characters..
I am glad I decided to read this one first as I just wanted to know the side characters story first.
It does look good and I love the colors on the cover.
I agree the colors on these covers are pretty.
Glad you enjoyed this one well enough. Sometimes shorter novels/or novellas are missing some of what we need to make them perfect. Sounds like this was one of those. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

This just felt a bit too short compared to the other books to fully have as much romance development as I wanted.
