My Review
I picked this one up shortly after finishing book 7. I am really enjoying this series and I am hoping I can finish reading this series this year as it’s so good! This book had quite the cozy feel with Willow and Azil settling into a normal life. Azil has his first visit to IKEA, an appointment for a new wand and he sets up his work space at home and away from home. While Willow is still trying to figure out what it is she wants more in her life as she wants to keep the coffee shop, but also wants something more.
This book was just so fun to read. Seeing Azil adapting to modern life is one of my favorite things about this series and seeing him experience IKEA for the first time was priceless. I really loved the cozy feel of this book and seeing Azil and Willow live their lives. They are such a great couple and I love how they communicate and talk things through.
This book was so cozy and comfortable I almost forgot about the Sect plot line still not being resolved and I was almost sad when that came back into the picture as I want them to be able to enjoy their lives without the Sect’s interference. Then again I am curious how this plot will progress as well.
To summarize: This was such a fun and cozy book! Azil and Willow are settling into a normal life and I loved reading about them. There are some fun scenes like with Azil visiting IKEA for the first time and going for an appointment to get his wand. I really like these two together and I loved the cozy vibe of this book. I am curious to see what Willow will find to do next to her coffee shop. The Sect plot line seems to be on halt for a bit, but there’s some progress on that too. I look forward to the next one!
